The samples below are full resolution images collected by satellites orbiting our planet or from airplanes high up in the sky. We have chosen them to provide views from a wide variety of landscapes. The location of each image is indicated with a white or black label in the upper-left hand corner.
If you find an image you particularly like, please feel free to download and use it as your desktop wallpaper – or any other ideas you may have! This can be done by Right Clicking on the lightbox and selecting Save Image As from the menu that appears. You can also download an entire collection of images from a satellite by clicking on the Download All links below.
