IKONOS
Launched on September 24, 1999, IKONOS was the first commercial satellite able to collect sub-meter imagery with 0.80-meter panchromatic and 3.2-meter multispectral resolution. IKONOS was also the most agile satellite in the industry surpassed only recently by GeoEye-1. The agility of IKONOS combined with its longevity translates into one of the most robust high resolution satellite imagery archives available.
