A Special Announcement – Expansion of Our Customer Support Team to Better Meet the Needs of Our Clients

With the continued success of our US-wide parcel and tax roll products, we have added an important new member to the eMap team, Alex Diamond. Alex will focus his efforts on improving and expanding core eMap products as well as assisting our current and future clients with comprehensive solutions for accurate and up-to-date land ownership data.

Alex came to eMap after spending over five years as a Senior Product Manager at high-resolution satellite imagery owner and operator, DigitalGlobe, Inc., where he developed products and services for a global network of commercial distribution partners. Alex focused on end-market solutions for the Oil & Gas exploration and Mining industries. Previous to this, Alex worked at RockWare, Inc., a developer and reseller of earth science software including the ArcGIS family of products by ESRI; and acquired a broad range of geospatial and marketing experience as Business Development Manager. Alex holds a Bachelors Degree in Geography from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has completed Masters level coursework as well as state and county level internships in GIS and Remote Sensing.

Alex brings a wealth of practical geospatial experience to the eMap team and is excited to apply his knowledge toward an increased focus on parcel and tax roll sales and solutions for eMap customers. “The large increase in recent years in exploration and drilling activity in unconventional shale gas and liquid plays across the US in areas such as the Marcellus, Barnett, Haynesville and Bakken are putting pressure on operating companies to more effectively manage land acquisition and lease activities. Parcel and tax roll information provide an extremely valuable base-mapping framework which allows managers to make better decisions and decrease cycle time to market,” said Mr. Diamond.
